Who I Am
Alvin serves as the FPCC Africa Regional Coordinator, working closely with JLI, UNICEF, Religions for Peace, and other partners to strengthen faith engagement and promote positive outcomes for children, families, and communities. He supports knowledge management, stakeholder engagement, and monitoring and evaluation across the FPCC initiative in Africa.
Why I'm Walking - Walking in Faith, Standing Against Hunger
In Kenya and across many of our communities in Africa, hunger remains a daily reality for too many families. Yet we also see something powerful: faith in action, solidarity in motion, and people willing to turn concern into concrete steps of change. The 100-Mile Hunger Walk is our response. Every step we take is a prayer in motion, a commitment to dignity, and a reminder that no one should be left behind. We are walking not just to raise awareness, but to stand alongside those most affected, believing that change is possible when we move together with purpose. This journey calls on all of us, faith leaders, communities, partners, and individuals, to transform compassion into action. Because ending hunger is not the responsibility of a few; it is the shared calling of many.
So we walk in faith. We stand against hunger. And we move, step by step, toward a future where every person has enough to live, to grow, and to thrive.
